FAQ
Can I bring my own props?
YES! Please feel free to bring any props you desire, for example, favorite toy or book or even mom’s with little girls and want a photo of her wearing your heels or both wearing heels? i’m all for it! bring them!!
Will there be a second shooter?
If your event requires a second shooter, I can obtain one with an additional fee.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
I recommend scheduling for the appropriate time frame you think you need. If I have other clients booked after you I unfortunately won't be able to extend the session. However, if I don't, we can extend for additional fee.
What kind of gear do you use?
I currently use Canon EOS R
Do I have to order prints through you?
You do have the option to order prints through your gallery, however you are not obligated to. I do recommend using higher quality printers such as Nations Photo Lab, mpix, or snapfish. I dont recommend walmart or walgreens.
What should I wear?
I always recommend that you wear neutral or solid colors so that your photos are timeless and more versatile. I also encourage that you keep the heavy patterns and big logos at home in order to keep the attention on the real star - YOU! For groups, I definitely recommend you coordinate with each other. This does NOT mean exact matching, uniform type of coordination. This means wearing colors that compliment each other and don't direct people's attention to one individual.
What kind of edits do you do?
I do what I call natural edits. I can edit out blemishes and the like but my editing style is more realistic natural looking. I don't do heavy edits, nor can I make your chin or stomach smaller so please don't ask me to do that.
However I have had clients offended by editing out blemishes or birth marks so I do typically leave it alone unless my client specifically asks me to do so, but do keep in mind I cannot make your skin look flawless nor am I glamour shots. If there is a specific look your going for please communicate that clearly or book a consultation so the expectation is very clear.
How long does editing take?
I do ask to allow 2-3 weeks for editing. I hate being rushed but depending on my workload it usually doesnt take that long but please allow 2-3 weeks. Photography is not just clicking a button, for every hour of shooting there's 3 hours of editing so please be patient.
